In a world marked by confusion, loneliness, and a growing forgetfulness of God, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, stands as a living sign of hope.

The Shrine leads souls from across the country into the merciful love of God through the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose words to Saint Juan Diego, “Am I not here, I who have the honor to be your mother,” continue to echo in the hearts of those who visit.

As a place of pilgrimage, prayer, and conversion, the Shrine fosters a renewed encounter with Jesus Christ through the Holy Mass, the Sacraments, Eucharistic adoration, and sound catechesis rooted in the traditional teaching of the Church.

Through the Blessed Mother’s intercession, hearts are changing. This was clear duringlast year’s Nine-Month Novena and Consecration to Our Lady of Guadalupe when more than 160,000 Catholics joined the Shrine each day in prayer.

Throughout the nine months, families prayed together again. Parishes rediscovered Marian devotion. Individuals who had been away from the sacraments for years found the courage to return. The Shrine became not just a destination in Wisconsin, but a spiritual home for Catholics across the country.

In 2024, on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dec. 12, thousands gathered at the Shrine for Holy Mass and the Act of Consecration. Many approached the image of Our Lady with tears of gratitude, entrusting their marriages, their children, their fears, and their hopes to her maternal heart. The atmosphere was one of profound reverence and joy — an unmistakable sign of God’s grace at work through Our Lady.

One of the most significant initiatives now underway at the Shrine is the National Prayer Rally, scheduled for June 13, 2026, during the 250th anniversary year of our nation. This event has already become a moment of profound anticipation and spiritual momentum. It will gather the faithful from across the country for a public act of prayer for America — for the Church, for families, and for a renewed culture rooted in faith and moral truth. The event is designed not only as a gathering, but as a call back to God — a reminder that true renewal begins on our knees.
